JA Titan Business Simulation
What is it?
Participating students will take on the role of a corporate business leader by making decisions to steer their business to success. Student teams will be prompted to make decisions that affect the profitability and sustainability of their virtual company, and will attempt to outperform competitors in profit, sales, and market share. Students will set prices, determine production levels, invest in capital, develop budgets, and plan marketing and research. Student teams compete against students from across the United States for the chance to win first place.
The Junior Achievement Titan Business Simulation is an online competition in which students make teams to run a simulated business and try to outcompete other student-team led businesses. The teams of students are responsible for determining things such as production levels, cost, R&D, Marketing, Capital Investment, and Charitable Giving based on trends and behaviors of sales.
How do I do it?
In order to compete in the Business Simulation, members will have to make teams of two or three and register with the Ryan, Annie, or Adam Liang. After registering, the team can get in contact with past competitors for more information. The official competition take place over several weeks in November. For more information follow the button at the bottom of the page. CED Annie Wang is in charge of this event. Contact her at [email protected] for info and to sign up.
If you have your team ready, send Annie the team name, team members, team members emails, and team members phone numbers before October 17th!
