Why do we maintain a Point System? How does it benefit members?
The Point System exists to help officers quantify each member's involvement in Future Business Leaders of America. By keeping track of who does what, officers are able to roughly estimate how much each member has contributed to the club. Knowing this allows us to fairly reward members who put in a lot of work into the club.
At the end of month, the member that has accumulated the most points is awarded the Member of the Month award. The Member of the month is that month's most active member. Winning Member of the Month comes with both the title, and a unique reward following that month's theme. Multiple Member of the Month awards signify major involvement in the club and looks very good in an officer application and essay.

How do I know how many points I have? Who keeps track of points?
The Point System is updated and maintained by the chapter Secretary. Any member can find out how many points they have gathered so far by asking our current Secretary or by checking the spreadsheet at the bottom of this page. Furthermore, if any member finds an error or discrepancy in the point system, they can report it to and discuss it with the secretary. The current secretary has listed his/her contact on the officers page.
